Lauren Thorson Poster

These posters were designed for two artist talks given by Lauren Thorson. The poster was inspired by her mechanical plotter drawings, which reminded me of digital interlacing and moiré effects found with CRT monitors. These patterns, combined with the handmade and time-intensive process of the plotter drawings, is what lead me to this concept.

The typeface used is Digi Grotesk, the first font typeface formulated for CRT machines.
